In this intro level class, students will learn the foundations of natural dye processes with local artist, Caroline Worrell. You'll leave with an understanding of mordanting/pre-treatment, immersion dyeing, and after-care. Bring 1-3 items of undyed fabric, fiber, or an item you’d like to up-cycle and give a new life! Class fee includes an info booklet for students to take notes, natural dye and mordanting materials, and equipment. Let's explore the vibrant world of natural color together!
